VoiceCardbirth announcements

Terms & conditions

Last updated: 11 June 2026

Draft for review — this document was prepared with AI assistance and is pending review by our legal counsel under Indian law (including the DPDP Act, 2023). It reflects how VoiceCard actually works today.

1. The service

VoiceCard provides hospitals with a subscription service for digital birth announcements: a staff application, a lobby-display application, AI-generated voice greetings, and shareable digital cards ("the Service"). These terms are an agreement between VoiceCard and the subscribing hospital ("you"). Family members who view a card are covered by the visitor terms in section 7.

2. Subscription & payment

The Service is billed monthly in advance via Razorpay (UPI Autopay, card, or netbanking). Prices are listed on the pricing page or in your order; applicable GST is additional. We may revise prices with 30 days' notice effective from your next billing cycle. Screen-kit hardware, if supplied, is invoiced as agreed in your order.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Enter announcement details only with the family's agreement, and photos only with recorded consent of a parent/guardian;
  • Use the staff approval step before announcements play publicly — you control what your lobby plays;
  • Keep your staff login confidential and tell us immediately if it is compromised;
  • Honour family requests for correction or deletion promptly.

4. Our responsibilities

We provide the Service with reasonable skill and care, target high availability, and protect personal data as described in the privacy policy. AI-generated voice may occasionally mispronounce a name — the staff preview-and-approve step exists precisely so nothing unapproved reaches your lobby or the family.

5. Suspension & termination

You may cancel anytime (see the cancellation & refund policy). We may suspend the Service for non-payment after Razorpay's retry cycle fails, or for material breach of section 3. On termination, card pages are taken offline and data is deleted per the privacy policy's retention rules.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for failures caused by your premises' power, network, or display hardware not supplied by us.

7. Card visitors

Card pages are provided for the family's personal, non-commercial sharing. Do not attempt to access other families' cards, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation.

8. General

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction. If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Questions: drpraharsh@gmail.com.
